Bayanihan continues to live on in the Visayas region as different members of the community work together to help sustain everyone’s needs. Toyota Iloilo City, led by its franchise owner Mr. Robert Uy, and together with Ms. Fanny Uy of the Iloilo Multi-Sectoral Business Organization, handed over hundreds of sacks of rice, canned goods, and packed noodles to the local government of Iloilo. Barangay leaders and Toyota representatives were present to facilitate the endorsement of donations that aim to bridge the needs of the residents.
“In our own ways we are strengthening our bond with the communities. Helping one another to uplift lives, most especially in times of need. As we have the capacity to help, we will do so to brave through challenges and win together,” said Mr. Robert Uy as he shares his commitment to help the city of Iloilo move forward.
Earlier this year, the dealership also extended help by donating PHP1.5 million worth of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and face masks for frontliners in the city. City Mayor Jerry Treñas happily recognized and welcomed these efforts, further strengthening the partnership of the public and the private sector.
Toyota Motor Philippines continues to inspire and encourage its partner dealerships around the country to extend help and assistance to the communities they serve during and beyond the times of distress and calamities.
Toyota Iloilo, one of the preliminary dealerships in the Philippines, is located at Gran Plains in Jaro, serving customers daily for car sales, services, and after-sales market.
