Involved vehicles are equipped with lap-shoulder seatbelts in both second-row outboard seats. There is a possibility that, in the event of a very severe frontal crash, the lap belt webbing could contact a portion of the metal seat cushion frame, become cut, and separate. If this occurs, the seat belt may not properly restrain the occupant, which could increase the risk of injury.
Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through Official Notification Letter and will be invited by authorized Toyota Dealerships to inspect and if necessary, install an additional Resin Protector to the Rear Seat Cushion Frame with a new one at NO COST. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active Service Campaign at https://toyota.com.ph/service-campaign.
Customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment with any authorized Toyota dealer to perform the necessary vehicle repairs to prevent problems from occurring.
